Dr. Jonathan Kaplan, founder/CEO of BuildMyBod Health will be giving several presentation this weekend at the Foundation for Facial Aesthetic Surgery – FFAS Conference this weekend.
According to the FFAS website, “The mission of the Foundation of Facial Aesthetic Surgery (a Non-Profit, Multi-Specialty Foundation) is to foster a sense of cooperation and knowledge exchange between the medical specialties that are primarily involved in the science, practice and teaching of facial aesthetic surgery and non-surgical medical aesthetics.”
Agenda at FFAS
Dr. Kaplan has a busy weekend in store! On Friday morning, he’ll present, “How to weed out price shoppers and find serious patients in the process.” Just because someone calls a doctor’s office to ask about price doesn’t make them a price shopper. That makes them a normal human being. And eventually they’ll want to know the cost of a procedure prior to moving forward.
However, there are some folks out there that just call office after office after office asking about price. And what’s worse is they hang up before the office staff can get the person’s contact info for follow up. Dr. Kaplan will explain how there’s a better way to handle these inquiries and capture contact info of serious patients in the process.
Later that morning, he’ll give a TED-like talk, “I believe in price transparency and sales funnels!” From the title, you can imagine this is a talk about giving patients what they want – pricing info – and fill your sales funnel like never before. You can read more about that in the BuildMyBod Health ebook here.
On Friday afternoon, he’ll discuss how, “Snapchat and Instagram Stories transformed my practice (and I don’t even have a ton of followers)!” Dr. Kaplan will clarify that it’s not about the number of followers but engaging the ones that you do have.
On Saturday, he’ll trade in the Practice Management “hat” for his scrub cap. He’ll give a surgically oriented talk on mini neck lifts, entitled, “How geometry helped me avoid post-auricular scars.”
